Aptos Node Server Requirements

To successfully run an Aptos node, your server must meet the following hardware specifications:

CPU: An Intel Xeon or AMD Ryzen with at least 8 cores, 16 threads, and 2.8GHz or faster is a perfect choice.

Memory: 32GB RAM

Storage: 2TB SSD. We recommend 2 x 2TB NVMe RAID1 drives to reach 40K IOPS which is necessary for the Aptos node server.

Internet: 200Mbps on 1Gbps port, 50TB - 100TB bandwidth

Aptos Validator Server Requirements

If you are setting up an Aptos validator, your server must meet higher performance requirements:

CPU: 32 cores, 2.8GHz/core or higher. We recommend AMD EPYC dedicated servers.

Memory: 64GB RAM

Storage: 3.0TB SSD ( We recommend using 2 x 4TB NVMe drives to reach  60K IOPS which is necessary for Aptos validator server.

Internet: 200Mbps on 1Gbps port, 50TB - 100TB bandwidth

Meeting these requirements ensures that your Aptos node or validator operates efficiently, providing optimal performance and network stability.
