How to Configure LiteSpeed Cache in Wordpress Print

LiteSpeed Web Server is an Apache alternative that conserves resources without sacrificing performance, security, or convenience. LiteSpeed server can handle higher traffic with fewer processes, improving page speed and reducing the usage of resources like CPU and RAM. It provides significantly better results in various website speed metrics. 

     Installation

WordPress LiteSpeed Cache plugin comes pre-installed with all installations from WordPress Toolkit, with a plugin’s pack. If you like to install the plugin manually, here are the steps you should do:

  • Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard and find the Plugins section on the left side of the menu.
  • Type in the search section “LiteSpeed Cache”, click on Install Now and Activate the plugin after installation.
  • Refresh the admin dashboard – the LiteSpeed cache sections will be on your dashboard menu.

Please find the LiteSpeed cache plugin:

Settings -> LiteSpeed Cache or LiteSpeed Cache -> Cache on the bottom of the left side menu.

In the Cache control settings page, we recommend enabling all features except mobile cache. It might be unsupported by your theme. Do not forget to save your settings each time.


Litespeed configuration


On the TTL page, you need to enter time in seconds. 86400 = one day, but you can enter a different time.

In Object page Object cache should be enabled. 

Method - Memcached or Redis.

Host - localhost IP: 127.0.0.1

The default port for Memcached is 11211. The default port for Redis is 6379.






Browser section - please enable Browser Cache and set TTL 86400 ( one day ).

Do not forget to save your settings!

 

LiteSpeed cache check

 

You can check the LiteSpeed cache if it is properly configured.

 

Open website:

 

https://check.lscache.io/

 

Type your full website name. Click 2 times on the button “Check”

 

If you receive messages:

 

 LSCache is supported

 LiteSpeed cache is a hit

 

Your website is properly configured to use LiteSpeed Cache!
